Question:
Lapping the park is my thing and I also like a few runs through the halfpipe - can you suggest where I should go this winter?
Answer:

You’re looking here for a big park and a resort with a vast array of freestyle features including a halfpipe. If you are prepared to head across the Atlantic then the trip will be extremely worthwhile, with some incredible park set ups at resorts such as Breckenridge, Park City and Aspen. Perhaps the best option however is Mammoth in California, home to no fewer than seven different parks and two competition standard halfpipes. Here you are also likely to rub shoulders in the lift queue with some of the world’s best pro skiers and boarders – making the Mammoth experience even better.

If Europe is more your cup of tea then your best option is to head to Laax; home to three snowparks and a world class halfpipe. The Curnius snowpark is the place to be seen and it is here that the Burton European Open is contested each winter. An alternative destination would be Mayrhofen in Austria, where you can combine epic après ski with laps of the excellent Vans Penken Park.
