Question:
What does the new Instructor Led Guiding service entail?
Answer:

The new service will be run by Evolution 2 instructors. All instructors will receive full training about the Ski Club’s purpose, values and commitments, expectations from members and the Ski Club, the skiing and social aspect of the service, and the snow reporting role. The great news is that as fully qualified instructors under French law, they are able to lead, guide and instruct during these sessions. Instructors will wear Ski Club jackets that will be dual-branded, and all meeting places will have Ski Club signs.

We will continue to offer an on snow programme that is based on members’ skiing ability, with some flexibility according to conditions and member demand. We will offer a mix of around 3 sessions a week of half-days and full days, on and off piste. This programme will include instruction and off piste skiing. Eight members will be able to join the on piste sessions while up to six members can join the off piste sessions.

Subject to member demand, yes the social hour will take place each evening from Sunday to Friday inclusive. The Evolution 2 instructor, or an alternative Evolution 2 employee, will attend each social hour with Ski Club members.

More information can be found on the Ski with the Club section of the website.
