Question:
What would £200,000 buy me on the slopes?
Answer:

£200,000 can buy you a variety of properties but it does come down to the location. In the Hautes-Alpes region of France the following properties were on the market in December 2008 to give you a guideline.

  • A spacious 2 bedroom ski-apartment, with balcony, fully furnished, at the foot of the slopes in Serre Chevalier.
  • A 3 bedroom, traditional mountain-village house with small garden, to renovate, in Puy St Vincent.
  • A large converted loft with 3 bedrooms, within the historic walled-town of Briancon.
