Get your racing head on: it’s time to put your slalom skills to the test in Verbier...

Actually, you don’t have to have any racing experience to get involved in this giant slalom event. The Verbier Challenge Cup is great fun for anyone interested in having a go on the course – and there’s cool prizes to be won too. The event has been running for years, with some returning time and time again to compete. Children, boarders and adults of different skiing abilities can all compete in their own categories, so the chance of winning a prize is high!

Whether you’re an adult with extensive racing experience, or you have children who want to race for fun, it’s a great day on the course, followed by an awards ceremony around après-ski time. The event is heavily supported by resort workers, the tourist office, Ski Club members and friends as well as random tourists, and will add an extra bit of fun to your holiday – we hope to see you there.

There’s no need to commit in advance of your holiday. To enter, simply meet up with the Ski Club rep the week of the race, during their Social Hour which is held at the Hotel Nevai (formerly Rhodania) every night at 6.15pm.
