What is the Snowsport Forum?
The Snowsport Forum is a group of UK ski and snowboard organisations who meet quarterly to discuss issues of mutual concern and interest with the following key aims:

  • To promote and encourage wider public participation in snowsports
  • To initiate and support activities that meet the objectives of the Forum
  • To promote and improve high standards of conduct within snowsports
  • To share ideas and information within the UK and global snowsport communities

What the Forum has achieved?
Numerous projects of joint-marketing have been created or expanded as a direct result of Forum meetings but specific projects led by the Forum include.

  • Research into Local Education Authorities and their advice to schools on ski and snowboard courses
  • Production of the ‘Teachers Guide to Snowsport’ (click here to download pdf)
  • National Ski and Snowboard Day pilot (March 06)
  • National Ski and Snowboard Week (12-18 November 06)
