Ski Club sponsored rider Ed Drake is going from strength to strength, and had a great weekend in Meribel.
 Last Tuesday he flew out to join the England Coach Tim Fawke in Meribel, with
the approval of Kingston College of course, to race in two Slaloms in Meribel.
On the thursday there was the Belgium slalom Championship in Courchevel, the next valley. At the last minute he entered the race, after the two runs he came in 3rd. Friday back in Meribel for a night FIS race and ended up 7th.
 Back
to the apartment then eat, rewax and tune the skis for an early race the next morning. After the first run he was in the lead but slipped back to finish 2rd, a brilliant result earning valuable points 50.89.
Whilst most of the other races
are sking full time or live out there Ed was back home on sunday and in Kingston College monday.
