The 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver will be the first Olympic outing for ski-cross, something which can largely be credited to the success of boardercross in 2006 in Turin. In an interview with BBC Sport's Anna Thompson, ski-cross star Emily Sarsfield talks about her excitement of the event’s inclusion.
“It’s an opportunity for ski-cross to be seen by a mass-audience and I think that’s all ski-cross needs” says Emily in the interview. “I’m so excited to see the reaction of what people think because it’s such an exciting spectator sport”.
In the interview Emily also talks about her progression from downhill to ski-cross as well as the ups (and some downs) she has experienced in her run up to Vancouver so far.
