Following a first run that was as frustrating as it was exciting, the ladies are back in action at Whistler Creekside from 9.30am (5.30pm GMT) in the second and deciding run of the Ladies' Giant Slalom.
The race will decide the penultimate women's alpine skiing podium of the games and with USA powerhouse Vonn out and team mate Mancuso lagging in 18th, it looks like the Europeans will take the medals in the 4th women's alpine skiing event.
Team GB's Chemmy Alcott races 6th in the 68-strong field.
