Taking place from 15-18 July the Summer Weekender, brought to you by the Ski Club and Natives, offers anyone connected to the UK Snowsports Industry the chance to spend a long weekend in the Alps enjoying summer skiing, outdoor activities and après fun with their fellow snow lovers.
Based in the stunning Swiss resort of Zermatt, the Summer Weekender will feature informal ski and snowboard racing on the Klein Matterhorn glacier with the Ski Club of Great Britain Giant Slalom and the Metrosnow.co.uk Dual Slalom. There will also be a Matterhorn Mystery Challenge to take part in, with details to be revealed in resort.
After all the action on the slopes, Zermatt offers a variety of summer activities from a high ropes course with more zip wires than you can throw a harness at to football and volleyball in the stunning surroundings of the mountain town.
Après will take place at a number of resort venues with a welcome dinner taking place at Nelly’s bar and a fancy dress prize giving to round off the event on the final night.
Costing £149 including B&B accommodation, lift pass and entry to all events and parties, the Summer Weekender is not only great value but also a perfect opportunity to catch up with other members of the industry and network.
