Battersea Power Station forms the backdrop for the action on the real snow ramp at the Freeze Festival
|
Back for a third year at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station from 29-31 October, the Freeze Festival promises an unrelenting three days of freestyle action on the specially erected real snow ramp and music sessions on the big stage.
Competition will be fierce on the 32m high, 100m long ramp with the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup and International Freestyle Ski Big Air events attracting world class talent from the likes of TTR Champion Peetu Piiroinen whilst the Battle Of Britain showcases the best UK riders in front of a home crowd.
The Main and Relentless Energy Stage line ups have yet to be announced but with past acts including Cypress Hill, Orbital and Friendly Fires and Calvin Harris, this year’s music is sure to impress. There will also be a resort style retail village, plenty of après and (new for this year) a reverse bungee jump.
Tickets for the event go on sale on 7 May and you can sign up for a reminder at www.thefreezefestival.com. Tickets available include a season pass (all three days of the festival) day tickets, after work tickets for Friday and VIP entry.
