Saas Fee, Zermatt and Cervinia are expecting up to 58cm of snow over the course of Saturday and Sunday

According to the Ski Club’s snow forecast top 50 on Thursday 29 April (generated at 3.30pm) the Swiss resorts of Saas Fee and Zermatt are forecast a whopping 58cm and 54cm of snow respectively over the course of the weekend whilst Cervina in Italy is due 44cm.
The incoming snow is particularly good news for Saas Fee, where visitors should be able to make fresh tracks throughout the resort’s closing weekend before the lifts close on Sunday 2 May. Cervinia is also planning to make the most of the conditions with operations confirmed for the weekend of 8-9 May.
Other resorts set to benefit from snowfall this weekend include the Swiss resorts of Andermatt, forecast 13cm and Pontresina, due 7cm. Kaunertal and Piztal in Austria should also see around 5cm a piece.
