Alicia Keys to star at legendary Ischgl closing concert

Renowned for its annual resort opening and closing concerts, Ischgl has secured another huge act – the multi-talented Alicia Keys – to perform on the 2300m Idalp stage at the Top Of The Mountain Concert on closing weekend.

Starting at 1pm on Saturday 1 May in the natural bowl of the Silvretta Arena, the daytime concert is free for ski pass holders and is expected to attract a 25,000 strong crowd keen to hear tracks including “Fallin’” and “Empire State of Mind”.

“If Alicia Keys is even half as good as Katy Perry it will be a fantastic end to the season” commented New Media Manager Abi Lee, who saw Perry rock Ischgl at the resort’s opening concert on 28 November. “The stunning setting and warm April weather will also be a real bonus”.

Concert attendees will also be able to take advantage of plenty of terrain over closing weekend with 35 out of 40 lifts running on Friday 30 April and good on piste conditions, especially higher up.
