Falls Creek, Mt Baw Baw and Perisher are celebrating Christmas five months early this weekend with celebrations ranging from turkey dinners and dressing up to appearances from the big man himself and his sack of presents.
Falls Creek is sticking to a one-day celebration with a Scandinavian theme on 25 July, whilst Mt Baw Baw and Perisher are celebrating “Christmas Eve” and “Christmas Day” with activities on both Saturday and Sunday.
At Mt Buller, the resort will be hosting its annual Christmas Week from 31 July until 6 August, with events including carol singing and fireworks whilst Santa will be taking to the slopes to show off his skills on the snow.
"There is such a great atmosphere in the resort during Christmas Week” commented Mt Buller Events Coordinator Katie Bowker. “The kids absolutely love seeing Santa and receiving gifts, while the adults enjoy eggnog, lovely dinners and hearing the carolers sing.
