Looking for a spring break?

What have you got in store over the next month? Be it spring skiing, celebrating St Patrick's Day or Easter there's plenty to do both in the UK and resort in March and we've got some of our favourite Ski Club Freshtrack's holidays taking place too.

Spring

March - officially the beginning of spring, with daffodils and snowdrops sprouting up across many parts of the UK. Although you may not find this type of flora in the mountains, the Alps and other ranges do have plenty to offer during this transitional month. With temperatures warming up in resorts and t-shirts and sunnies becoming the main mountain trend, it’s the ideal chance for those of you who can’t resist the glow of the sun to venture there.

Lucky for you we’ve even got a few spaces left on our trips, including weekend breaks, which are perfect if you're just looking for a short break away.

Easter Extravaganza

Davos, Thurs 28 March 2013 - Mon 1 April 2013

Here, you can enjoy your Easter break in the large town of Davos, where the ski area is one of the largest in the world. The town even has museums, exhibitions, theatres and loads of shops to keep you entertained off the slopes. Once on the slopes there is no shortage of red runs to entertain the intermediate skiers.

Easter eggs
Don't worry about getting lost on the slopes - that's what your Ski Club Leader is there for. Your Leader was chosen to lead your holiday for four days because of their extensive knowledge of the area, not just the best runs to take but the best restaurants to lunch in! Also if you’re a fan of Swiss chocolate, as it’s Easter, then why not go and enjoy those little chocolate eggs – a nice reward after all that hard work on the slopes, go on - you deserve it!

The Hotel Sunstar Davos comfortably earns a 4* rating thanks to its traditional rooms and excellent wellness centre where you can pamper yourself after a day out on your skis. Head down to dinner feeling revived and be seated in their restaurant and receive a delicious four course evening meal. Where else would you rather be?

Holiday price (£875) includes: 4 nights 4* hotel, (3 nights dinner included) twin share, return scheduled flight and coach transfer, Ski Club Leaders

Powder Paradise by Rail

Les Arcs, Sat 16 Mar 2013 - Sat 23 Mar 2013

You’ll get to travel on the Eurostar to the heart of the French Alps, enjoying the views, and on arrival in Bourg St Maurice be transported via coach the short distance to Les Arcs. The resort is well known for its excellent snow coverage, long descents and tree runs. The town also offers good après events and lots of great bars – perfect for that demi peche you’ve been craving on your last run down the mountain!

We've arranged three days with a local mountain guide so you get the most out of your time in the Alps. Serge is an excellent reader of mountains and knows this resort extremely well, so he is nicely positioned to lead you to the best powder fields and couloirs available.

The 3* Hotel du Golf sits at the foot of the slopes and offers a welcoming bar and even spa facilities so you are suitably refreshed and relaxed for the next day up the mountain in the wonderful resort of Les Arcs.

Holiday price (£875) includes: 7 nights 3* hotel half board, return direct train, twin share, Ski Club Leader, 3 days with mountain guides.
