The Ski Club launches new resort Facebook groups

The Ski Club is launching new Facebook resort groups aimed at helping skiers and snowboarders connect with each other.

The Ski Club launches new resort Facebook groups

One of the original aims of the Ski Club was to get people skiing together. We want to make this possible for as many people as we can, whether you’re a Ski Club member or not, and to make this easier than ever we are launching resort Facebook communities for the 2016/17 season. We’ll be covering major resorts across Europe and North America, and we want the groups to be THE places for meeting people to ski or board with this winter and beyond.

But we need your help! We want as many people as possible to join the groups and post photos, videos, messages and updates from resort. So whether you’re a seasonnaire in Verbier, a regular weekend warrior in Chamonix or are chasing the powder from your campervan this winter across Austria, we want to hear from you!

We’ll have a team in the office at hand all season to ensure you’re supported and to make sure the pages are as successful as possible. The more photos, event details, après sessions, lunch meets and run recommendations the better – we want everyone who is a member of the group to have the chance to ski with others and to know everything there is about the resort they’re in.

We've currently got groups running for most of our Leader and Instructor-led Guiding resorts - plus a few selected others. Please click on the links below to be amongst the first to join and help us create some exciting new communities.

  • Probably one for Facebook, but all of these links take me to either my own FB page or the FB login, if I'm not already logged in.

I can't find the SCGB groups anywhere via FB itself.
