Become A Rep: Leading Ski Freshtracks Holidays

Each Ski Freshtracks holiday is accompanied by experienced leaders whose role is to look after the members both on and off the piste.

Ski Club rep leadingFreshtracks Leader benefits

  • Accommodation and food: All Leaders are provided with accommodation and food; this is to the same standard as the paying members, and usually involves sharing a twin room with another Leader or Ski Club member. A free lift pass is also included in most cases.
  • Insurance: Leaders are also covered by our Executive (highest) level of insurance – they are insured to lead people providing they operate within our guidelines as stipulated in the Reps' Manual.
  • Travel: Return travel is normally provided by the Club, again this is on the same basis as the holiday party and tends to involve departure from an airport in the London area.
  • Other costs: Leaders are expected to fund any additional costs themselves.

What's expected of Ski Freshtracks Leaders in resort?

  • Group leading: Acting as a reliable and safety-conscious leader for a group of members, either in conjunction with an instructor/mountain guide or alone.
  • Social: Providing a social focus for members, with involvement in après-ski socialising and events where appropriate.
  • Admin: Completing necessary admin duties relating to your holiday.
  • Resort relations: Maintaining excellent resort relations with bodies such as ski schools, bars, restaurants, hotels etc.
  • Safety equipment: Managing and being responsible for the Ski Club avalanche transceivers and a safety backpack allocated to each holiday, and distributing them appropriately according to Club guidelines.

If you have any queries about any of the above, please contact the Ski Freshtracks team on 020 8410 2022.
