  • Ski programme by email: Tell us which rep resort you're going to and we'll email your rep's ski programme to you a week before your holiday.
  • Pre-registration: Ski Club members can now pre-register their interest in skiing with a rep.

Non-members can try out the repping service for one day. If you like it, you can Join the Ski Club on the slopes. Simply find out where the rep meets, turn up and take it from there. Ski Club members will take preference if it's a busy day.

Ski Club reps are there to add enjoyment to your holiday by leading you around the slopes and providing a social focus in 35 resorts worldwide. As a member recently said:

"It really made our holiday, to be able to ski with someone who was friendly and sociable, and who knew his way around so well."

Skiing with a Ski Club repYour Ski Standard: All members, except complete beginners, are welcome to ski or board with the Ski Club reps. As the programme is designed to cater for different standards on different days, you can expect to ski with the rep for a maximum of 2-3 days per week. This ensures all members benefit from the repping service and derive maximum enjoyment by skiing with people of a similar ability.

The Programme: Each Ski Club rep plans a six day varied programme for the week tailored to the local resort (and its ski terrain). You can view the rep's ski programme online a week prior to departure. Finding your Ski Club rep has never been easier.

The Social Hour: You can join the rep and other Ski Club members for a drink in the evenings at the designated 'Social Hour'. See the relevant rep's programme for details.

Your Safety: Your safety is of prime importance and our volunteer reps are highly trained individuals, all of whom have passed our comprehensive reps training course which includes modules on mountain navigation, snowcraft, avalanche safety, first aid and many others.

How to meet up and ski with a rep: It really is easy - AND a little different this year:

In previous years, all you needed to do was turn up on the day suited to your skiing standard with your Ski Club membership card and look forward to a fantastic day of skiing. However, this system relied on a daily first-come, first-served basis, and we felt this could be a little unfair. The system didn’t give those organised members, who know days before that they want to ski with the rep on a particular day, the chance to be certain of a space in the group.

Now, from this season, we are trialling a new system.

Before you go:
If at all possible, log on as a member to skiclub.co.uk, go to reps and pre-register your interest in skiing with the rep in your particular resort on the week you will be there.

At this stage, we will ask you for all the information which was normally collected on the morning of the ski day – membership number, emergency contact and phone number and resort accommodation details. Note: pre-registration closes each Friday at 1pm for the following week.

New for this year, is that the reps will receive all this pre-registration information on the Friday before each week begins, so you will no longer need to complete all the visitor information on the morning at the meeting point.

In resort:
Pre-registration does NOT guarantee a place in the group skiing with the rep on any one day, and you MUST contact the rep when you get to resort, either by phone or join them for a drink in their social hour.

The rep will then allocate places in the group for each day - according to when you contact them, either by phone or preferably in their social hour. Once you have had a place confirmed, you will need to arrive at the meeting point at least five minutes before the meeting time. Many people want to ski with the rep, and we know from experience that when people are on holiday, they don’t always turn up even when they planned to. So, five minutes before the meeting time, the rep will give the place to someone on their waiting list, or someone who has turned up on spec on the morning. We’re sorry, we can’t make exceptions to this timing – so please arrive early.

You can still turn up at the reps first day meeting point, but it will be better if you know your plans to have the rep confirm a place in the group for you on a specific day.

Non-members may still ski with the rep for one day, prior to joining the Club.

You will find details about the meeting point for each day, on the green reps programme, posted all over resort eg tourist office, social hour venue and affiliated shops.
