Leaders And Guides

Leaders

Unique to Ski Freshtracks, the majority of holidays within our programme are hosted by one or more experienced Holiday Leaders who will ensure you have the best of times both on and off the mountain. Enthusiastic volunteers from all walks of life, but with many qualities in common, they will enhance and add enjoyment to your holiday experience. From the word go, you will be accompanied by leaders who take you from the UK out to resort and onto the pistes. In resort, leaders arrange on slope, evening, and when necessary bad weather activities. They are all competent skiers who have passed the rigorous Ski Club Reps’ Course, and excel at looking after ski groups either in conjunction with an instructor/mountain guide or alone.

Instructors

A number of our holidays include instruction. Our Instructors and Mountain Guides are all professionals who spend their lives in the mountains that they know and love so well. On our holidays in the Instruction Zone, tuition is given by top BASI qualified Instructors or their local equivalent. Many of our Instructors have reached the international level of ISIA (International Ski Instructors’ Association). They will ensure that day by day you get the very most from your skiing, and will also take charge of your safety.

Mountain Guides

Skiing with our carefully chosen Mountain Guides makes our off piste holidays extra special; it is their expertise, their experience and, above all, their enthusiasm that makes the difference. All our Mountain Guides are internationally qualified and wear the badge of the IFMGA - International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (UIAGM - Union Internationale des Associations de Guides de Montagne), the highest professional accolade.
