Skiing in India will give you the chance to experience a holiday like no other.

Located in the state of Kashmir, on the India – Pakistan border the isolated winter villages are the highest ski areas in the world reaching up to 4,000m. The infrastructure is still primitive, most villages have just one lift and most of the ski areas are unpisted and unpatrolled. All of this makes for great off-piste skiing which is suitable for intermediates right through to the most advanced skiers.

Gulmarg: This small, but fascinating resort is home to some of the best powder in the world. It is located in Kashmir in the Himalayas. It now boasts the highest gondola in the world which carries you to arguably the best off piste you'll ever ski or board. It is also a great base for heli-skiing.
