A sleepy and romantic village with ski-in access. Popular with experts due to the close proximity of masses of heli-skiing and off-piste.
Probably the smallest and sleepiest of the three villages that have direct access to the Monte Rosa resort, Alagna oozes romantic charm. It's situated right at the top of the craggy Valsesia valley where the river is still just a stream. Being a quiet place it is perfect for families and die-hard skiers who don't want late nights or social temptations.
