Bourg-St-Maurice
Bourg is the main Tarantaise valley town, and as such has fantastic access to Ste Foy, La Rosière, the Espace Killy and the Paradiski area.
As a valley town, Bourg's primary selling points are its access to Les Arcs via the funicular railway and Eurostar links to Paris and the UK. It is also cheaper to stay down here than up in one of the resorts. Roving skiers could hire a car and spend the week exploring the entire valley for a week or fortnight with a difference.
