Les Menuires
One of the two major resorts in the ‘third valley’, Les Menuires mixes Trois Vallées access with modern ski resort infrastructure and is pretty much perfect for families.
The town of Les Menuires is a classic example of the throw-'em-up-fast architecture of many French ski resorts built in the 1960s and 70s. The resort is essentially divided into three tiers: Reberty, La Croisette and Preyerand, with accommodation at all levels. The architecture is mostly concentrated around the main base of La Croisette, and the resort is shedding its poor image with the creation of smaller, more sympathetic off-shoots such as the chalet-style village of Hameau de Marmottes.
