Sierra Nevada
Spain’s prime resort for great skiing: guaranteed snow, nightlife and long sun-blazoned days creates the perfect family package.
The Sierra Nevada ski village has developed significantly over recent years but still suffers from a complete lack of profile in much of Europe. This is hardly surprising; for most, the idea that you can ski almost on the southern shores of the Mediterranean with views out to the Rif Mountains in Morocco sounds a little far fetched. But with one of the longest ski seasons in Europe it is not uncommon to be skiing from the end of November to the beginning of May.
