Sugar Bowl claims a huge average snowfall of 500 inches a year. We were impressed by the varied terrain, including lots of genuine black and double-diamond runs from the higher lifts as well as good cruising; the single-black Silver Belt is rated by an experienced American reader as his favourite run in the US. There is lodging at the base in The Inn, and a small development of condos is under way at the Mt Judah base, near the smart day lodge.
