Ski Resort Guide: Tremblant

Tremblant: Intro

Stunning scenery, with a long snow season, Tremblant also has a lively apres and night life scene, akin to Europe's finest.
Lake View (credit: Tremblant)
Over 100 years old, and ranked number one on the East Coast by Ski Magazine, Tremblant has a centralised, pedestrian village with a cosy, quaint French feel, evenif it does have that 'Alpine village as scripted by Walt Disney' feel. Situated in the Mount-Tremblant National Park, there's incredible terrain that covers four areas of the mountain – with expert orientated steep runs. Versant Sud is the older part of the resort, as Versant Soleil and Versant Nord were created as part of recent expansion plans; the largest tourism project in North America.
Pros
  • Great snow.
  • The night life is banging, busy and fun; this is no sleepy snow resort.
Cons
  • Its freezing!
  • Expensive.
