Canazei: Intro

Intermediate Italian ski heaven: great food, easy skiing, plenty of ski and friendly locals. What's not to like?

Canazei is growing in popularity and building work is catching up with demand. Thankfully, all the buildings so far are in keeping with the setting and the time-capsule feel of yesteryear is still present: this is a great place for one-piece ski suits with matching bum bags.
Pros
  • A huge ski area with lots of different types of skiing.
  • Different runs can be skied throughout a week without skiing the same bit twice.
  • A week's holiday will definitely not exhaust the potential here.
Cons
  • Not much expert skiing.
