Passo Tonale: Intro

A rare chance for an economic Italian ski holiday. Excellent for beginners and anyone wanting to improve at half-day ski school. Some linked ski areas for intermediate and advanced and a good free bus service to other ski areas which is improving all the time.

Passo Tonale can seem quite barren at first, but a closer inspection reveals more than initially meets the eye. It is excellent for beginners and especially cheap for families. Mountain restaurants on blue runs and also the glacier make it an easy place for mixed-ability families or groups to enjoy lunches together up the mountain.
