Thredbo: reviews
- skiclub.co.uk visitor (23 October 2008)
I live in Melbourne and travelled over to Thrdebo in August. The snow was excellent and the resort was much better than neighbouring Perisher in terms of run length, gradient, lifts. It just had a bit more class and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone over here looking to ski in NSW above the alternatives.

In the context of Aussie ski resorts, Thredbo is the go. High speed quads and extensive snowmaking make this the best boarding option in Australia. I was expecting surf not snow!?

In my opinion, this ski resort in OZ is poor quality and expensive. You have to have good luck to get any fresh snow that lasts for more than a few days. Way to low, they need another 1,000m of height. Save your money and travel to the Alps or N.America.

Astonishingly expensive for what it offers although it is cheaper than flying back to Europe to ski!!
