Snow overview for Canada
Monday 22 May 2017

Spring conditions continued around Whistler (202) on Monday 22nd May. It was a very warm day, with forecasts providing temperatures of around +19c for the resort, which meant that pistes were turning to churned slush very quickly once skied upon.

In the USA the sun shone bright at Timberline (452cm). The base depth has dropped since our last report on Thursday 18th, but good spring skiing still remains on offer as we head into summer.

Love Banff, the town is lively, friendly, lots to do. The hotels are all quite good but the Banff Springs is just magnificent, if you can afford it just once, do it. We always hire a car and drive to the ski resorts Lake Louise and Sunshine where the skiing is absolutely marvellous for all abilities but you can get a buss which are very frequent and were free with a lift pass the last time we used one. We love tree skiing which is why we travel so far from England but its always worth it. I think we have been about twelve times now, which is a lot more than any other Canadian or U.S resort and were going back this December and cannot wait
Go there you will love it
