Snow overview for Italy
It was a fantastic powdery day on Thursday 2nd February for many featured Italian resorts. In Arabba (42/58cm) it was snowing lightly with 7cm falling. Val Senales (66/132cm) and Cavalese (2/100cm) received a little more with around 10cm and had all lifts in operation so skiers could access many fresh tracks across the mountain. The winner for the most snow received in Italy was Cortina (15/60cm) with 20cm of fresh snowfall.
In contrast a handful of resorts such as Cervinia (115/300cm) enjoyed a lovely day with clear blue skies where skiers and boarder enjoyed spectacular views on the Plateau Rosa.
