Ski Club of Great Britain moves office.

The Ski Club of Great Britain will be moving from the White House in Wimbledon Village to a new office in Wimbledon centre later this year.
The move follows the sale of the White House at the end of 2016. The property sale allows the club greater diversity with its assets and a more flexible and functional workspace for the Ski Club staff. The club bought the White House for £2m in 1997 and sold it for £3.85m.
The Ski Club’s library of books, documents and artefacts collected over the last century will be housed by a world leading University that specialises in both sport and history.  The collection will be preserved for future generations, be catalogued and curated by experts and actively used for research. The collection will also be made more accessible to the public and over time parts may be digitised to allow even wider access.
The Club has also arranged for selected items to be displayed in a new alpine themed pub opening in  2018, which will also play host to various Ski Club events in the future.
