Pas is a sizeable collection of dreary concrete-box-style apartment blocks and hotels, a product of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The central area at the base of the slopes is traffic-free, but elsewhere traffic and fumes are intrusive. By contrast, the mini-resort of Grau Roig over the ridge from Pas has an isolated hotel in an attractively wooded setting.

For families

There are ski kindergartens at Pas and Grau Roig, and a non-ski one at the latter for one- to four-year-olds.

Apres Ski

Après-ski can be very lively, at least at peak holiday times. Popular places include Paddy's Irish Bar and the Underground.
