Mount Hotham snow report

Yet more snow over Australia over the past few days continued a fantastic wintery period of skiing with Falls Creek having seen 102cm over four days and blue skies. Almost every one of our featured resorts is set to see more fresh snowfall over the weekend, reporting up to 35cm at Falls Creek from Sunday to Wednesday, while Perisher broke the record for base depth so far this season at over 200cm. The weather yesterday (Thursday 15th) was a mixed bag due to fluctuating temperatures; so much of the snow that fell was rather damp, but with the temperature dropping again over night, this provided beautifully groomed pistes come morning. Snowpack off piste tends to be windblown in places, with more substantial accumulations in places and exposed icy patches elsewhere, something to be aware of.
