Fulpmes (with its satellite village of Telfes) sits at the foot of Schlick 2000, the most extensive of the lower ski areas in the Stubai valley. The pretty village is said to be the sunniest in the Stubaital. It attracts few British visitors. The valley lift station and skier services building was completely modernised in 2009 for quicker access to the slopes. Above the access gondola slow lifts serve mostly red terrain, with easier blues lower down. There's a terrain park and kids' area.
