A pleasant village in the Montafon area, bypassed by the valley traffic, with a gondola to the Nova area of slopes - the valley's largest, with 114km of pistes. This is generally the most challenging area in the valley, with many red runs, and blues that are not entirely easy. Most of the slopes are above the treeline, typically offering a very modest 300m vertical. There is lots of off-piste potential, including steep (and quite dangerous) slopes down into the central valley. Snowmaking covers almost half the area, including runs down to the valley. The NovaPark terrain park features a half-pipe and snowcross course. There are lots of mountain restaurants. It also links to the Hochjoch ski area (see St Gallenkirch).
