Small village west of Innsbruck, and covered by the Innsbruck lift pass. The slopes are very limited, but with an impressive vertical of 1200m. And over two-thirds of the pistes have snowmaking. The village is self-sufficient, with most things you need (eg pharmacy, bakery) and a big 3-star hotel. It is prettily rustic, and targets the family market with the aid of a moving carpet lift on the nursery slopes. There is night skiing and tobogganing on Tuesdays and Fridays.
