Follows tradition Söll is quite attractive, with chalet-style buildings and a huge church near the centre (its graveyard prettily lit by candles at night).

For families

High and low options At the base of the gondola, Hexenkinderland is a supervised area for small kids based around a 'witches' theme and allows them to play while getting used to skis. It was enlarged this year. Monti's Kinderwelt at the gondola mid-station is well equipped with play areas and nursery slopes. Club Flocki is an option in the village.

Apres Ski

Still some very loud bars Söll is not as raucous as it used to be, but it's still very lively and a lot of places have live music. At teatime bars such as Moonlight and Hexenalm, close to the gondola base, are lively. So too is Salvenstadl (Cow Shed) on the edge of the village, recommended by a recent reporter. The Red Horse Pub is a 'great, lively, atmospheric bar'. Later on, the large, central Whisky-Mühle disco can get wild, especially after the bars close. The hotel Austria bar has been recommended by a past reporter. Rossini is good for cocktails and live music.
