Mostly sunny skies led to great skiing across Alberta and British Columbia in Canada on Tuesday, with more sunny weather expected throughout the week. Base depths are good for the time of year and thanks to cool temperatures, cold chalky snow can be found on piste and soft, tracked, powdery snow lies off the sides. Some snow looks to be on the way for Whistler and western British Columbia over the weekend.
A decent fall of snow is forecast for Tremblant and Mont-Sainte-Anne in Quebec over on the East Coast. Both ski areas are reporting good conditions, with most trails and lifts open. Make sure you wrap up warm later in the week however, as temperatures are set to drop to -20C at times.
