There's a good nursery slope area (The Zone) by the village with a moving carpet and long easy green runs to move on to.
Vance Creek has mainly easy cruising runs. Silver Woods has lovely, gentle runs cut through the trees and easy blues among the trees themselves. Putnam Creek also has excellent blue cruising. Good intermediates will appreciate the groomed black runs (they groom at least two each night - look on the boards for which ones).
Putnam Creek has a dense network of single- and double-black diamond runs plunging through the trees, many of them mogul runs. The runs to the left as you ride up the chair are north-facing and keep their snow well. There are some good short blacks in the Attridge area, too. Heli-skiing is available.
