The runs are mostly intermediate (only two green runs and one genuine black, plus a couple of fakes). A six-pack takes you up from the village base, but virtually all the lifts are drags, most of which rise no more than 200m. The slopes can be bleak and exposed in bad weather, but the area usually has a long season with many of the slopes being floodlit. The back side of the hill, which is good for beginners, got some recent investment, including a 1.7km six-pack rising almost 300m. The main terrain park, up the hill, is large and varied, claiming to be the largest in Finland'.There is also a super-pipe and snow park on the slopes at the base, with big jumps. It has 230km of cross-country trails.
