The village is well below the treeline, but most runs are on open slopes. The resort uses the label 'snowcross' for three ungroomed but avalanche-controlled runs - two black, one red.

  • Resort altitude: 1400m
  • Lower slopes: 1215m
  • Upper slopes: 2550m
  • Total pistes: 152km

For beginners

A good place to start. There are dedicated beginner areas at Creve-Coeur (one of the higher parts of the village) and at the top of the gondola, quiet green runs on the Rocher and Blanchot drags (on the extreme left of the mountain) and a network of easy blues to move on to.

For intermediates

The whole area - except for the steeper snowcross runs - is ideal, though the main home run can be quite daunting for the timid.

For advanced

The black pistes are not serious, but the 'snowcross' runs provide a challenging mix of steepness and bumps. There is good off-piste that doesn't get skied out.
