Our Day

Well, the pisteurs worked their magic and lifts started opening at nine. A couple of warmup runs in Bollin and then out members took the bus to Lac as we figured the viz would be better on the runs down to Breviere. A long wait at Chaudanne, but we finally made it up… we spent the next hour lapping the Boisses gondola and the Aiguille Rouge… lovely snow and not too busy, and no queues. A gentle cruise and some in between piste exploring down to Paquis, and then the Funicular Perce Neige… by which time some boot fettling was required so we retired to Bollins restaurant for a seat and some food. A few laps of the areas under Tichot to finish up…

Weather

A bit of everything today! Light snow initially, clouds, bit of wind, then the Sun tried to come out…

News and Notes

A long wait for our frites at Bollin… all the restaurants are busy! But we did see an Alpine Accentor, a relatively rare visitor to the lower altitude of the resort.
