As a semi-retired IT professional I now have plenty of time for skiing in my favourite areas close to my home in Verona Italy. The magical Dolomiti region is within 2.5 hours drive, and other world-class skiing areas such as the 3 valleys, Espace Killy and Ski Amadè are all reachable within an easy drive. Having experienced the addictive adrenalin buzz of competitive motor racing, my love for speed and exhilaration is kept alive by the thrill of skiing, both on and off-piste.
When not on the ski slopes, I keep fit with daily 10,000 steps+ mountain walks with my best friend Bruno the Briard (a shaggy French herding breed) plus regular swimming and gym sessions.
I'm an avid reader and music fan and also produce my own music and EDM mixes in my computer-equipped studio. Basically, 24 hours per day is nowhere near enough to fulfil my various passions and love of life's opportunities!
Started skiing later in life and just love the mountains, the challenge, and looking forward to making new friends on the slopes and in the apres ski bars. Rugby has been my passion, having played county and regional standard. Also love squash, cycling, golf and anything that leads to a few well earnd beers afterwards. Looking forward to meeting you all.
I have been passionate about mountain sports for 35 years, have snowboarded for nearly 25 years and been a rep for the Ski Club since 2004. That has led me to skiing with other Ski Club members in the USA, Canada, Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria. I look forward to meeting new members and sharing the joy of the mountains.
Hello members! I've been a snowsports addict for about 10 years and love the whole lifestyle that surrounds it. I enjoy using the entire mountain and like to get to every corner. I would describe myself as a freerider, not freestyle, i'm addicted to off piste powder although I do enjoy the jumps in the park or jibbing around off the side of the piste. In 2012 i spent 2 1/2 months in canada touring 13 resorts finding some little gems along the way and fresh powder at every resort . I also love motor sport ,big boys toys and most things that burn a hole in the ozone . I have competed in a couple motorcycle sports, even the Rachau hill climb in Austria where my friend and I were the only British competitors. Another must is my annual trip to the Nurburgring. i own several motorcycles , classic VW's and a fast n furious tokyo drift BMW .Please visit the social hour to discuss the next days events, I can change the programme to what people want and the snow conditions. All hail the powder
I love all aspects of being in the mountains and in all seasons, although winter is my favourite time. I am a relative latecomer to skiing having pulled on my first pair of rear entry boots (found and donated from a mate's loft) in my thirties. Since then its been a case of upgrading my kit and skills and making up for lost time!
I enjoy sharing mountain days with like - minded people, admiring the views and being in the moment.
I have spent recent winters in beautiful British Columbia and look forward to spending time exploring the European alps again.
