In the winter time I get to the mountains as often as work allows. People often ask where my favourite resort is - my answer is anywhere there's good snow! I love finding stashes of untracked powder and generally this is much easier to find in resorts not known for their off piste.
In the summer I sail and have recently acquired a Laser Vago which we sail on a reservoir in the Lea Valley. I've started to become quite good at capsize drills!
At home I run road and cross country with Victoria Park Harriers.
I have led in Sauze D'Oulx for the last three seasons and it's become a firm favourite. Great mountain food, reasonable prices and not too much competition for the powder after it snows! Come and ski with me and we'll get all round the Via Lattea, do some great skiing, have a tasty lunch and stop for a bit of apres in the mountains.
Looking forward to getting out on the slopes with other members, sharing a few stories and a cheeky apres ski vin chaud!
I started skiing whilst at university and was smitten! I've now skied for over 30 years and have been fortunate to ski in many of the 'great' resorts. In 2010 I felt I had to go to the next level by joining the ski-club leader-team in order to give something back to the sport. I enjoy all types of alpine skiing - on / off piste, fast / slow, steep / motorway! When I'm not skiing, I cycle in North Yorkshire (my home location), go walking and watch and referee football. Oh, and I work as well, helping businesses to perform better through organisational change, leadership development and personal coaching.
