Snow is not a problem when it comes to the Swiss rail network; the trains and tracks are designed to tackle the deepest of snow, so don’t expect any major delays! Instead, admire a winter wonderland in a state-of-the-art train that will smoothly carry you across to your ski destination. Enjoy 360 panoramic views on the specially designed curved glass window carriages to maximise your visual experience.

The Glacier Express railway is one of the most famous routes, running between Zermatt and St Moritz, it takes up to 8 hours in total to get across the Swiss Alps. On this route, the Ski Club of Great Britain has several Freshtracks holidays on offer, where the rail ticket is included.
