WHAT THEY SAY: "This ultra-light helmet equipped with integrated visor will be just right for all those who ride with style. Lining with 3D mesh panels for improved breathability. Integrated ventilation"

WHAT ALF SAYS: Cébé’s Contest Visor is a cool, compact looking helmet. It won’t break the bank but will have you looking good on the slopes, and with a weight of just 390g, you’ll soon forget you’re wearing it.

The helmet features a small, integrated peak (which can be removed if you want - it’s held in place with three small screws) and a novel integrated ventilation system in the form of the Cébé logo. Unfortunately, this is not adjustable so you may end up wearing a beanie under the helmet on colder days.

The detachable, machine-washable liner has 3D mesh panels for improved breathability, and the ear pads can also be removed. Adjustment is quick and easy via a dial at the rear of the helmet, above which is a generously sized goggle retainer.

The Contest Visor feels snug and comfortable in use, and it comes in sizes up to XL, so everyone is catered for. For the price this is a good looking, good performing ski helmet.

FOR: Neat, compact design; good value

AGAINST: Venting system not adjustable
