Next up for review are this seasons's CMP Man Pants, here's what our tester thought of them
These four-way stretch fabric ski pants have been designed with a classic slimline fit and just like the Eider Rocker, they will appeal to piste skiers, especially those on a budget since they’re quite a bit cheaper than their Eider counterpart. The ‘Man’ (hardly an inspired name!) is really well-insulated and utilises CMP’s ‘Clima Protect’ fabric to keep you warm and dry, with a waterproof rating of 20k and breathability of 10k.
They come with detachable braces, a Velcro-adjustable high rear waistband for added warmth and large belt loops. You'll also find two zipped handpockets and adjustable hems (via a rear zip) along with elasticated boot gaiters and a very small and pretty ineffective scuff guard. A few more pockets may be useful in what are pretty basic ski pants, but given the price and the level of warmth they provide that’s perhaps being a tad picky.
FOR Good value, warm and functional.
AGAINST More pockets would be useful, but not essential
