This is a great option for weekend warriors looking for one daypack for all purposes. The fact that it’s 100 per cent waterproof (and snowproof) means that you can use it for everything from skiing to SUPing, coasteering and kayaking.
It features a seamless electronically-welded construction and a simple-to-use two-way sealing system to keep the contents dry, and with a 12-litre capacity it can easily carry all you need for a day on the slopes (unless you’re heading off-piste, in which case you’d no doubt be using a more purpose-built pack).
It comes with padded shoulder straps and back along with a chest strap (with emergency whistle) for secure placement on your back, and there are two mesh outer pockets along with a centre zippered mesh pocket and bungee cords for carrying additional kit. There’s also an internal zippered security pocket.
The Pro-Light isn’t a pack for purists, but if you dabble in a number of activities – especially activities where you’re likely to get a soaking – it’s well worth checking out.
FOR Fully waterproof, versatile.
AGAINST Only likely to appeal to recreational skiers and boarders.
