Rise from your fluffy feather bed to head up in the morning to the peak of Wiedersbergerhorn above 2,000m. Take the Hornlift 2000 to zoom up to the highest point in the ski resort, soaking in spectacular views across surrounding snow-laden mountains such as Schatzberg and Großer Galtenberg. The red runs No. 43 or No. 44 leads to the Gmahbahn chairlift, a less frequented and well-prepared route. Enjoy a coffee and strudel pitstop – now this is a holiday! -- on the sunny terrace of Dauerstoa Alm or charming Gasthof Hornboden. Meander ever further down along the No. 47 piste to Inneralpbach, the longest run in Alpbach which rolls for a leisurely 4km. Then it’s over the other side of the valley up the Verbindungsbahn gondola to Schatzberg and time for a lovely lunch at Restaurant Gipföhit, know far and wide for delicious Tirolean dishes and top service. Try the sunny and wide pistes on the Schatzberg such as the piste No. 12 Gern. …don’t miss the panorama from lucky Piste 13 Wurmegg, and a last descent to Inneralpbach where the day is crowned with a frothy beer hand-brewed by the jolly Jos Moser at his one-man beer brewery, Kristallbräu. Prosit and cheers to another perfect day in Ski Juwel.
