It is with deepest sorrow that the Ski Club of Great Britain confirms the death of our Chief Executive Frank McCusker on Sunday June 25th 2017 at the age of 55.
Frank was on a cycling trip with a group of friends when he suffered a sudden heart attack.
The Chairman of the Ski Club, Rob Crowder, said " we are all in shock at this tragic news and the loss of a valued friend and colleague. Our thoughts are with his wife Stephanie and his children, Archie and Mollie. Frank was a highly respected figure within the Snowsport Industry and will be sorely missed by so many people."
Frank was a kind, thoughtful and passionate colleague who respected everyone's opinions and was keen to bring the Ski Club to new audiences in the digital age. He will be greatly missed by all at the Ski Club of Great Britain.
Frank Gardner OBE, President of the Ski Club said "Frank McCusker’s tragic and untimely death has shocked us all. Ever since we welcomed him to the Club he has shown tireless dynamism and enthusiasm. Ever cheerful and good natured, full of plans and ambitions, and always willing to give others his time and support, he has been a tremendous asset to the SCGB and we will miss him dreadfully. Our thoughts are with his family".
